Sharanya has been working at the EIC for over five years. The EIC is one of the largest energy trade associations with over 900 members, working directly with the supply chain, developers and government.
As an energy agnostic organisation, the EIC helps companies understand and secure business opportunities across the globe and develop export capabilities through various forms, including global project tracking databases, specialised conferences/events, and continual publications.
As a Market Intelligence Manager, Sharanya manages the UK’s team of analysts responsible for the CAPEX project tracking database EICDataStream for the UK, Europe, Caspian Sea and Sub-Saharan Africa regions. She is also responsible for market and project intelligence on Offshore Wind, and won the Young Professional's Green Energy Awards for Best Analyst in 2023.
Sharanya is also acting as Interim Head of Consult. EIC Consult is a new market intelligence service which provides bespoke reports, presentations, competitor analysis and supply chain mapping exercises, to assist clients in developing their business development strategies.
