Ahmed El Dahshan

Managing Director Khedivial Marine Logistics

Ahmed El Dahshan is the Managing Director of KML – Khedivial Marine Logistics one of Egypt’s top 5 project logistics service providers.  With over 27 years of experience in the shipping industry (breakbulk, heavy lift, and project logistics), Ahmed is an accomplished expert in the maritime industry and has led complex logistics and power generation projects all over Africa and the Middle East. 

Ahmed stands out for his vision and strategic capacity applied to complex logistics solutions, as well as for his leadership skills.  His extensive portfolio of logistics projects reflects his standing in the industry where he has developed his professional career.  Ahmed is passionate about his work and relishes challenges.
Ahmed is a 3rd culture kid having grown up in Hamburg, Germany before moving back to Egypt.  His multicultural heritage made him a passionate advocate for diversity, equality, and inclusion. 

He has a bachelor’s degree in economics - American University in Cairo (AUC), and a master’s degree in shipping and international transport logistics (AAST – Arab academy for Science & Technology).

Ahmed has served on numerous boards of companies and organizations in including WWPC (Worldwide Project Consortium), GLA (Global Logistics Associates) and is a founding member of the Project Partners logistics consultancy network.  He is also member of the core logistics committees of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt as well as the AHK.  Ahmed is regularly invited to speak at industry events in Europe and the Middle East.
