Kidd currently serves as the Department Chair for Logistics & Supply Chain Management at San Jacinto College, where she leads the institution’s pioneering Bachelor of Applied Technology in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, the first program of its kind offered by a Texas community college. Positioned as a high‑impact solution to the region’s growing workforce needs, the program emphasizes real‑world import and export principles that prepare students for careers in trade compliance, analysis, and global logistics operations.

Kidd spent nearly nine years at the University of Houston, where she built one of the region’s largest and most respected supply chain programs. Before returning to San Jac, she served as President of the Houston Maritime Center & Museum, successfully launching its new home at the East River development.
