Tim Killen

Head of Growth - Project Sector Fracht Group


Tim Killen is Global Head of Growth, with Maersk Project Logistics. He has spent his entire career working in the value driven project logistics and supply chain industry.

Prior to his current global leadership role with Maersk, he held the position of CSO for the project freight forwarder deugro, focusing on global sales, business development and key account management. He started his career as a graduate engineer for ALE Heavylift in the UK, developing his experience and career over 15 years working in Europe, Africa and Middle East and ultimately  assumed the role of Commercial Director. 

He is a Non Executive Director for the Energy Industry Council and also serves on the Advisory Board for the Breakbulk Europe Conference.  He has also presented and spoken at various Breakbulk Conferences over the last 10 years. He is passionate about working strategically a cross all stakeholder levels in the project logistics industry to lead diversification initiatives and support professional mentoring and competence development.

Tim graduated with an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering in the UK, he has over 25 years experience in the project logistics industry and is based in Gloucestershire, England.
