Business Manager Bulk Shipping & Offshore Industry Port of Rotterdam

Joost started almost 20 years ago within the Port of Rotterdam Authority at the strategy department. Throughout the years he developed knowledge and insights on warehousing & distribution, empty depots, customs and logistics to contribute the port's strategy. The last 15 years he has been working in the commercial epartment as a business (development) manager. Starting at the shipping desk all the way to his present responsibility he worked for and cooperated with companies in the dry and liquid bulk shipping, maritime industry, offshore industry and breakbulk industry. Presently he works on strengthening the port's position in offshore wind and breakbulk in general. Joost has a MSc degree in regional port and transport economics.
