David Contreras Diaz
Head of Markets Samudra Oceans
David Contreras is Head of Markets at Samudra Oceans, an ocean intelligence platform building continuous, AI-driven environmental monitoring for ports and offshore operators. He brings 15+ years of commercial experience across emerging technologies. Before Samudra, David co-founded Zeru.Earth, a B2C carbon removal company and held senior sales roles at TGS and Polarcus, two of the world's leading ocean data companies. At Breakbulk Rotterdam, he will present Samudra's mission to close the ocean data gap: replacing the fragmented, periodic sampling that most port operators still rely on with live, continuous intelligence that turns environmental compliance from a reporting burden into a genuine operational asset.
