Ulrich Ulrichs

CEO

BBC Chartering

Ulrich Ulrichs has been Chief Executive Officer of Leer, Germany-based BBC Chartering since August 2019. He joined the company as Chief Commercial Officer in May 2019. Ulrich Ulrichs has more than twenty years of experience in management positions with specialized carriers in the multipurpose sector.

Before BBC Chartering, Ulrichs had been with Rickmers-Linie from 2005. In 2008 he was named Director Line Management and became Managing Director of the company in 2012.

Ulrich Ulrichs was named CEO of Rickmers-Line in 2014, a position he held until leaving the company at the end of 2018.

Prior his stint with Rickmers, he had been with Austral Asia Line in Shanghai and Brisbane for five years. Ulrich Ulrichs holds a diploma as industrial engineer from Oldenburg University of Applied Sciences, Elsfleth. 

Peter Molloy

Peter Molloy is a highly experienced consultant who specialises in niche shipping markets.  He has extensive experience in valuations, market analysis and due diligence for different ship types and markets. 

His advisory expertise is considerable and includes market studies, valuations and strategic planning.

 

Frank Mueller

Regional General Manager

Frank Mueller has been with AAL since 2001 and is a long-standing member of our Senior Management Team. He started his shipping career in 1995 with a shipbroking traineeship in Hamburg, Germany. 

For several years he worked with different shipping agencies and carriers, before relocating to Australia. He provides valuable input on international trade lane development and global corporate strategy. 

In his 30 years of shipping, Frank has built a strong international reputation within the project heavy lift and breakbulk sector - well regarded for his strong market insights and known as being a reliable and trustworthy partner.  

 

Axel van Pul

Regional Head of Project Cargo – Europe & Mediterranean

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company

Axel van Pul is Regional Project Cargo Manager Europe & Mediterranean at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, where he has built a strong track record over almost a decade. With 26 years’ experience in the logistics and shipping industry, Axel brings a well-rounded perspective on project cargo, commercial strategy, and market dynamics.

Since joining MSC in 2018, Axel has held several roles across trade management and business development. He started as a RORO Trade Manager for MSC Belgium, focusing on optimizing trade performance and strengthening customer relationships within the roll-on/roll-off segment. He later expanded his scope as Business & Project Development Manager within the project cargo team, leading strategic initiatives and developing tailored solutions for complex cargo projects.

In his current role, Axel is responsible for project cargo activities across Europe and the Mediterranean, overseeing large-scale and specialized shipments. With hands-on experience across both commercial and operational domains, he currently leads MSC dedicated project cargo teams in 16 countries within the region. 
 

Luke Mace

Senior Vice President, Project Logistics, Global Freight Forwarding

Luke has been with GEODIS for over 16 years, spending the last 8 years in his current capacity of Global Senior Vice President for Project Logistics. Starting his logistics career in his home country of Australia almost 30 years ago, Luke then moved to Singapore where he joined GEODIS and took the role of Director for South-East Asia. After five years in the region, including serving as the Managing Director of GEODIS Indonesia, Luke and his wife moved to Houston in 2014 where he is still based today. Luke has a comprehensive understanding of the industry and is passionate about exploring different cultures and systems and their connection to logistics.
 
In his role as SVP, Luke leads a team of more than 650 full time staff, located in 38 countries. He is also a member of the GEODIS Freight Forwarding Board.
 

Vilasini Krishnan

Vilasini Krishnan is Commercial Manager at deugro UK, driving commercial strategy for complex, high-value project logistics across the energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. With almost 20 years of global experience, she is known for turning complex supply chain challenges into practical, commercially viable solutions. Alongside her UK role, she serves as a Global Key Account Manager, leading strategic relationships with multinational engineering and consulting firms across more than 25 markets. This gives her a front-row view of how shifting demand, project pipelines, and regional dynamics are shaping capacity and competition across the project cargo landscape.

A founding member of 4D Supply Chain Consulting, Vilasini has advised clients on optimisation, market trends, and decarbonisation—bringing both strategic insight and real-world execution experience.

Recognised for her direct, pragmatic approach, Vilasini brings a grounded, end-to-end perspective—connecting commercial strategy with the realities of project delivery in an increasingly volatile and capacity-constrained market.

Andrzej Bułka

Andrzej Bułka has over 20 years’ experience in the project cargo industry, specializing in the comprehensive delivery of logistics projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors. A graduate of the Szczecin Maritime University, where he studied Maritime Transport and of the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) at IESE Business School in Barcelona.

For 16 years, he has successfully managed Fracht Group’s operations in Poland, building a strong, highly qualified and diverse team of experts and consolidating the company’s position as a leader in the local market. He has extensive experience in managing complex projects for the largest global and domestic players in the energy sector.

His work focuses on strategic business development, process optimization and the execution of demanding logistics operations in an international environment. Under his leadership, Fracht Poland has for years actively supported the energy transition, organizing deliveries for critical infrastructure projects in Poland and Worldwide.

Marco Poisler

Adjunct Professor, University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering, COO – Global Energy & Capital Projects, UTC Overseas, Inc.

Marco Poisler, a key figure in global logistics, serves on UTC's Global Executive Management Team and Board of Directors. Born in Jersey City, he studied economics at Georgetown University and earned a Master's in Transportation from SUNY Maritime. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, with working knowledge of Ukrainian, Mr. Poisler has been instrumental in establishing strategic Global Energy & Capital Project offices worldwide.

As an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston's Cullen Engineering Supply Chain & Logistics Technology Program, Marco teaches "Project Logistics" developed by Margaret Kidd. He is currently pursuing an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration at UH Bauer, focusing on the intersection of AI and logistics under the guidance of Dr. Meng Li, founder of the Human-Centered AI Institute. This cutting-edge research complements his extensive industry experience, bridging theoretical advancements with practical applications in global supply chains.

Mr. Poisler’s community involvement includes serving on the Houston Maritime Education Center board and various trade associations. He co-authored the textbook "Project Logistics: The Universal Transportation Course."

With a strong background in economics, transportation, global logistics, and insights into emerging technologies, Mr. Poisler continues to make significant contributions to UTC Overseas and the industry. His leadership, combined with his commitment to education, innovative research, and community involvement, positions him as a key figure in shaping the future of global transportation and logistics.

Dr. Martin Harren

Harren Group

Dr Martin Harren, born in 1970, is owner and CEO of the Bremen-based Harren Group, which also includes the heavy-lift and MPP subsidiaries SAL Heavy Lift and Intermarine. He joined the Group in 2003. Previously (1992 - 2003), Harren completed his doctorate in medicine at the Free University of Berlin and worked as a surgeon at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
 
The Harren Group’s core businesses include heavy-lift and MPP shipping, maritime engineering solutions, integrated project logistics, ship management and crewing, commodity logistics and offshore wind operations. The family-owned shipping group has 24 offices worldwide and manages a fleet of 65 units of all major vessel types.
 
Harren is currently building five new heavy-lift vessels that will be the most efficient ships in their class, with consumption and emission figures far superior to any existing heavy-lift vessel today. The so-called Orca Class will enable the Harren Group to offer its customers completely carbon-neutral transport solutions.



 

Marc de Beunje

Marc de Beunje holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in Maritime & Transport Economics & Law and brings more than 15 years of experience in project logistics. 

Before joining DHL, he held various roles in business development, project management and country management at AEI, Bax Global, DB Schenker and KWE, where he served as Commercial Head of Project Cargo EMEA.

Since joining DHL in April 2022, Marc has taken on several key roles within Industrial Projects, including Head of Industrial Projects Benelux. In 2023 he was promoted to Head of Industrial Projects Western Europe, overseeing business development and project operations in the Netherlands, Belgium and France.

In his current role, Marc leads the Industrial Projects team and ensures the successful delivery of complex industrial projects. 

As a member of the Senior Management Team, he contributes to strategic decision making, organizational growth and innovation within DHL.

Rebecca Farrall

Rebecca Farrall is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Aalmar Surveys Group, leading the global strategic and operational direction of the independent marine surveying business. An ex seafarer, she began her career at sea with A.P. Moller–Maersk before moving into senior fleet operations, assurance, and commercial leadership roles with organisations including Carnival UK, Saga plc, and Aderco, where she served as Managing Director. Combining first hand maritime experience with strong commercial and people focused leadership, Rebecca is known for driving business growth, operational transformation, and global collaboration, while also being a visible advocate for seafarer welfare, workforce sustainability, and progressive leadership within the maritime industry.

Karin Staal

Staal Maritime

Karin Staal is a senior maritime professional with over 20 years of international experience in shipping, crewing, inspections, and workforce development. She began her career at sea as a seafarer, giving her first-hand insight into the realities, pressures, and wellbeing challenges faced onboard. She has since held leadership positions in crew management, worked as Port State Control Inspector with the Dutch Shipping Inspectorate, and currently advises maritime organizations on change management and sustainable employability. As Chair of the Diversity Committee of WISTA International, Karin contributes to global policy discussions as part of an advisory body to the IMO. She is a strong advocate for seafarer wellbeing, inclusive leadership, and creating healthier working environments at sea.

André Starke

André Starke heads the project logistics of ANDRITZ Hydro, and in this role he is responsible for the strategic and operational development of any logistics-elated topics. He is actively supporting the group worldwide, but his base is Vienna in Austria.

Formerly Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Projects at Agility GIL, and later Managing Director of DSV Air & Sea Abu Dhabi, Mohammad now serves as CEO of Combi Lift Project Logistics, part of Germany’s Harren Group. A sustainability advocate, he champions innovation through electric mobility, AI, and automation, driving the evolution of modern supply chains in the Middle East and worldwide.
