With over 22 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry, including 16 years dedicated to project freight forwarding, Wim Copmans has built a strong track record across both operational and commercial functions. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed complex logistics projects, developed strategic customer relationships, and delivered tailored transportation solutions for large-scale projects and heavy-lift cargo movements.
His extensive expertise spans project logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain management, account management, and commercial strategy. Having worked in a variety of leadership and specialist roles, he has gained a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in executing high-value, time-critical, and technically demanding logistics projects across diverse industries and regions.
At PSA BDP he leads the Projects & Heavy Lift team for Europe. In this role, he is responsible for driving business growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and overseeing the successful delivery of complex project cargo and heavy-lift solutions across the region.
