With over 20 years in the project logistics industry, Steffen Behrens is a seasoned expert in project freight forwarding, business development, and large scale project execution across global markets. Having held key roles in the U.A.E., China, and Germany with deugro and other major industry players, he brings deep Middle East project experience, a global perspective, and a strong customer centric mindset to his leadership.

Steffen has been with deugro since 2017 and has played a pivotal role in leading and developing the Middle East region from his base in Dubai. In 2022, he was promoted to President – Middle East, where he accelerated the company’s growth and strengthening its position. 

In 2026, Steffen accepted the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), joining deugro’s C Suite.
