Van der Wees Transporten

Koninklijke Van der Wees group was founded in Delft in 1907, and at that time, provided a regular shuttle service from The Hague via Delft and Rotterdam to Dordrecht. Business activities quickly expanded to include specialized transport of heavy and comprehensive loads, by road and by water.

With our privately owned multipurpose terminal and quay side in Dordrecht, a fleet of pontoons and tugboats, our 400 ton sheerlegs , logistics department and Road transport divisions, we are a major players in specialized transport, anywhere in the world.

This includes, for example, transport of wind turbine wings; a growing market thanks to the increasing demand for renewable energy sources. We can also position new bridges, thanks to our extensive fleet of pontoons, tugs and pusher craft. With our 550 metre-long quay, we offer a range of storage and transhipment options.
