Strengthen port and port business position The North Sea Port Promotion Council Foundation is an initiative of the port business community. Its main objective is to strengthen the economic and social position of the port and the region. Companies and institutions that have a direct or indirect interest in that goal participate in the foundation. The promotion council is a networking organisation and business club that brings together parties involved in the port in an active and sustainable port community. The council is the port's "club house". Promotion Council North Sea Port provides a platform for meeting, exchanging information, and conducting business. Of and for stakeholders in the port From this port community, the promotion council promotes the port both nationally and internationally as an attractive gateway to Northwest Europe that offers all necessary logistics and maritime facilities, where space is available and as the congestion-free alternative to surrounding seaports. Communicating the distinctive advantages of the port in general and the logistics and maritime services of the council's participants in particular requires constant action. Promotion Council North Sea Port is an ambassador for the port and contributes to maintaining and strengthening public support for the port and its participants' activities.
