Meriaura is a dynamic and innovative Finnish shipping company with almost 40 years of experience in the maritime sector. We transport demanding project cargoes and industrial bulk, recycled and raw materials, primarily serving the Northern Europe region, especially the Baltic and North Sea areas. Our fleet consists of modern and versatile dry cargo vessels and multipurpose deck cargo carriers. All our ships are built to an ice-class and operate safely in the harsh and difficult weather conditions of the Northern maritime region.

Meriaura is a recognized expert in project logistics, transporting heavy and oversized cargoes. Our deck cargo carriers, ‘Meri’ and ‘Aura,’ carry out diverse shipments, including i.e. offshore components, such as monopiles, blades, and other wind turbine parts, as well as harbour cranes, ship blocks, and other challenging heavy cargoes.

Sustainability is a cornerstone of Meriaura’s operations. We are proud to be the first sea carrier that introduced carbon-neutral transport contracts through our Meriaura EcoVoy concept, that is based on our biofuel-compliant vessels. Through long-term testing and regular use, we’ve verified the viability of this fuel in our fleet. The bio-oil we utilize is produced by VG EcoFuel Ltd. (a member of Meriaura Group) from recycled oils and by-products of the food industry.
