What will Olympia be serving at everyone's favorite street party?
We caught up with Giannis Michailidis, owner of Olympia Kitchen Bar, one of the original Breakbulk Boulevard participants that will return to add a delicious dish to this year's street party. Located on Schiedamse Vest, the street is closed off for Breakbulk Europe attendees and transformed into a lively celebration with food, drinks and music – a favorite networking event immediately following Tuesday's Welcome Reception at Rotterdam Ahoy. Registrants may add the party to their registrations for no additional charge by following the link sent to them.
This year Giannis' restaurant will be serving Greek Street Food Bites at the the party: Bao Bun with Sweet & Sour Spiced Pork and Chicken Gyros.
Breakbulk attendees are welcome to dine at Olympia Kitchen Bar during their stay in Rotterdam. Olympia is a family-owned restaurant since 1985. "We recently updated our style which is a mix of contemporary Greek and industrial," Giannis says. "Our kitchen serves a combination of traditional Greek, Mediterranean and MediterrAsian dishes."
Do try their signature dishes:
- Lamb Shank with sweet potato mash with fresh yoghurt dip
- Grilled Octopus with olive oil/ lemon / mustard vinaigrette
