Catering

Rotterdam Ahoy offers a full stand catering service including drinks, lunches, snacks and equipment rental. Orders can be placed in advance of the event via the Team Ahoy Catering Webshop. Please note the catering webshop is event based, not exhibitor based, all exhibitors must create a new account, even if they have exhibited previously. Additional orders can also be made onsite or by phone during event days.

If you wish to bring external or own catering, you must request approval from Ahoy Catering by Tuesday, 19th May 2026. Please note that a 25% buy out fee will apply.

Important: Alcohol may only be consumed during event open days. It is strictly forbidden during build up and breakdown, and anyone under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances will be removed from site.

Tailor-made Catering

Ahoy Catering can provide custom catering for items not available on the webshop. Requests for tailor made catering must be submitted by Tuesday, 19th May 2026.

Cleaning and waste disposal

Rotterdam Ahoy is committed to reducing environmental impact through waste minimisation and high‑quality recycling. To support these sustainability goals, waste removal is mandatory for all Space Only exhibitors.

Mandatory Waste Declaration

All Space Only exhibitors must complete a Waste Declaration form confirming either:

You will order the Waste Removal Service via the Gielissen Webshop, or
You will manage your own waste

Completion of this declaration is compulsory.

All Space Only exhibitors must choose one of the following options:

Option 1: Waste Removal Service

Gielissen offers a Waste Removal Service for a fixed fee of €355.00 (excl. VAT).

A specialist team will collect waste directly from your stand at regular intervals during the official build-up and dismantling periods, ensuring correct waste separation and recycling in line with Rotterdam Ahoy’s sustainability requirements.

Option 2: Manage Your Own Waste

If you choose not to order the service, you must:

Arrange your own compliant waste removal.
Keep your stand area clear throughout build-up.
Leave your stand space completely empty after breakdown.

Onsite Inspections & Charges

After dismantling, you must inspect and confirm your stand space is clean.
Failure to do so or leaving waste onsite will result in a charge of €50.00/sqm (excl. VAT).
Leaving behind full stand structures or large materials is strictly prohibited and will incur a minimum fine of €250.00 per cubic meter.

Please note: Due to tightened recycling regulations and to ensure proper waste separation, waste containers will not be available to order during build up or dismantling.

Hazardous materials such as oils, paints, solvents and emulsions must not be discharged into the sewage system. These items must be disposed of following the correct procedures and in accordance with venue regulations.
