Alex Azparrent

Global Director Supply Chain – Mining & Metals Fluor

Alex Azparrent is an experienced professional with over 20 years of supply chain experience, at Fluor since 2007. He relocated to Santiago, Chile in 2018 to focus on Mining & Metals projects in the region.  In 2022 he was appointed as the Global Director of Supply Chain for Mining & Metals at Fluor.  

Alex has been involved in projects executed in the United States, the Middle East, Mexico, Egypt, Algeria, West Africa, and throughout South America. He has spent a good part of his career in the field, where he was able to get a full perspective of the importance of supply chain in the successful execution of projects. He brings a wealth of experience in the project sector, having worked in various business lines throughout his career, with key focus in Mining & Metals. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, from Iowa State University.

He is also a Global Executive MBA graduate from TRIUM a three-university program – NYU Stern, London School of Economics, and HEC Paris.
