The Mission to Seafarers is the chosen charity partner for Breakbulk Europe 2022.
Their mission is to care for the shipping industry’s most important asset: its people. Their network of ship visitors are there to offer practical, emotional and spiritual support to the men and women working at sea when they need them most. From access to WiFi, food and toiletries to free training resources to promote welfare and support their mental health, they have been there to support seafarers for over 165 years, but more than ever over these recent challenging years.

How you can help
You can help the Mission to provide much needed support to the 1.6 million seafarers who are risking their lives every day to support our global economy & prosperity. At Breakbulk Europe this year, we are encouraging you to make a pledge, give something back and help support the physical and mental health of seafarers and their families as they endure danger and isolation each day.
#pledgeforseafarers campaign 3 Ways
- #pledgetoeducate: Pledge to take some time to learn more about the challenges that our seafarers are facing. Make the most of the free resources on offer from The Mission to Seafarers to help educate yourself and your seafarers to promote their wellbeing.
- #pledgeyoursupport: Pledge your support to the wellbeing of our global seafarers. Your support can come in many different forms, from spreading the word inside your organisation, raising awareness or fundraising.
- #pledgeyourtime: Pledge your time, however big or small to volunteer to a cause that supports our global seafarers.
