APDL - PORT OF VIANA

Viana do Castelo seaport is located in the northwest of Portugal, on the Atlantic coast, carrying out its activities on both banks of the Lima River.
The Commercial port located has an installed capacity to process about 1 thousand tons of cargo/year, being accessible to vessels of up to 8 metres draft and 200 metres long. It consists of two sections of pier with a total length of around 500 metres, equipped with high-capacity cranes, with a Roll-On/Roll-Off terminal and offers large areas for parking and storage of goods.
Designed for handling different types of goods traffic, the main specialties of the port of Viana do Castelo are forest and paper products, wind blades, machinery, fertilizers, agri-food, cement, asphalt, kaolin and RO-RO, etc.
