Stand: 2M15
  • Ports & Terminals

The Port of Stockton sits on the Stockton Deep Water Ship Channel, located in the heart of California’s Central Valley.  The Port is a bulk and breakbulk facility, handling a variety of liquid and dry bulk commodities, as well as steel, bags, lumber, project, and other general cargoes.

The Port consists of 15 berths, including 5 suitable for general cargo. It is served by two Class 1 railroads (the BNSF and UPRR) and is close to major freeways connecting the Port to the rest of the US West Coast and points inland. The Port owns two LIebherr 550 MHCs (144 M/T capacity) and a fleet of modern cargo-handling rolling stock.

Additionally, the Port boasts over 7,000,000 sf (over 650,000 m²) of covered storage and 300 acres (120 hectares) of land available for development.  Four stevedore companies operate with over 300 longshore laborers to provide seamless service.
