The Port of Sines is an open deep-water sea port with excellent maritime access, leading the Portuguese port sector in the volume of cargo handled and offering unique natural characteristics to receive any type and size of vessels in all segments. Due to its modern specialized terminals, the port is able to handle the different types of cargoes, namely liquid bulk, dry bulk, containers, general and project cargo.
It is a digital and paperless port, working 24/7 under a flat rate tariff system. It has a vast adjacent area, dedicated to the installation of port-based industrial and logistical projects. Is focused on the energy and digital transition, creating conditions for the handling of green fuels, as well as the digitalization and simplification of the entire logistics chain. It assumes the role of orchestrator and business catalyst, seeking to generate value for the Port of Sines' stakeholders.
