The Port of Sines is an open deep-water seaport with excellent maritime access, leading the Portuguese port sector. With state-of-the-art equipment and highly qualified human resources Sines is capable of handling any type of ships and cargos.
The Sines Multipurpose Terminal is dedicated to general cargo, project cargo and dry bulk, and the Container Terminal grants connectivity with more than 20 regular services to the main international markets. The Port of Sines is also the country's energetic maritime hub, receiving crude oil and natural gas. Adjacent to the port an area of more than 4 thousand hectares is dedicated to port-based industrial and logistic projects which currently exhibits a great investment activity.
Focused on energy and digital transition, as well as on innovation and simplification of the entire logistics chain, the port assumes the role of business orchestrator and catalyst, seeking to generate value for stakeholders.
