Compagnie Maritime Nantaise – MN owns, operates and manages vessels. Concentrating on industrial and specialized transport (sensible a/o hazardous a/o high value cargoes), MN’s activity includes the design, construction, acquisition, charter In and/or Out, and national & international operation of vessels to meet its clients’ requirements. MN further extends its range of activities in proposing its services and experience to third parties, either directly or through specialized subsidiaries Integrated shipping company ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ MN is an integrated shipping company member of the French shipowner’s association “Armateurs de France”. Using its own personnel, MN manages the crews, the technical and any commercial aspects of its vessels. The operation of the vessels also includes the QSES management as well as ship’s insurances (hull and machinery, P&I Club). 5 departements ++++++++++++++ MN is organized into 5 following departments: Commercial: - Contracts management - Definition of commercial Requirements & Specifications - Sale, purchase, chartering of vessels - Negotiation of shipping contracts and charter parties - Management of voyages & Commercial Operations - Bunkering of vessels Technical: - Management of vessel’s maintenance - Monitoring of national and international regulations - Modifications of vessels - Ship Safety Management - Management of new building and conversions - Projects Management Manning: - Management of French and foreign seagoing personnel - Management of crew qualification & training - Safety management of seagoing personnel - Compensation of crews - Recruitment, management & remuneration of seagoing personnel on behalf of third parties Administrative & Financial service - Management of shore personnel - Management of vessel’s investments, income and expenses - Financing of vessels - Administrative & financial management for third parties - Management of ship damage & liability insurance & company’s insurance, - Claims and damage.
