The Port of Tarragona is located in a unique geostrategic enclave. It is one of the five largest ports in Spain and one of Europe’s most important. It has a wide range of specialised facilities with 11 kilometres of docks, a 20-metre draught, cold stores, warehouses, jetties, silos, a container terminal with a capacity for 1.5 million TEUs, and an intermodal railway terminal (La Boella) for the traffic of goods with national and international origins and destinations.

The Port of Tarragona has direct services to and from 46 countries through regular maritime lines linking it to 60 ports around the world.
