The Port of Algeciras Bay is the number four port in the EU in terms of total throughput. It is located at the Strait of Gibraltar, crossroads of the world's main shipping routes in terms of cargo transportation.

The Port of Algeciras Bay, with “0” deviation from the East-West routes, is a well-established Mediterranean service port for breakbulk operations and for any kind of ship services. It is also a natural gateway for Europe, Africa and South America.

In 2022, the Port of Algeciras Bay handled round 107.2 million tons for total cargo throughput and 4.8 million TEUs.
