- Ports & Terminals
The North Adriatic Sea Port System, constituted by the ports of Venice and Chioggia, boasts a strategic position at the top of the Adriatic Sea, crossed by two European Transport Corridors: the Mediterranean and the Baltic-Adriatic ones. It represents the terminal of the inland waterway crossing the Po Valley, allowing sea-river intermodality; it’s also the terminal of the Motorways of the Sea of the East Mediterranean.
It is able to handle any kind of cargo, thanks to a natural multipurpose vocation and consolidated know-how in different supply chains, acting as the focal point to reach the European manufacturing and final consumer markets.
