Port-La Nouvelle is a French Mediterranean Port focusing on the energy transition : offshore wind farms, green H2 production, low-carbon print products. A new deep-sea infrastructure is currently under construction. It will increase the existing traffic of dry, breakbulk and liquid bulk and expand into new green activities.
The Port will increase from 60 to 210 hectares and water depth will reach 16 m to accommodate ships up to 60 to 80,000 dwt. It can be considered as the emergence of a new Port within the West-Mediterranean area. A logistics zone proposes land plots for industrial projects. Port-La Nouvelle thus intends to amplify its role within the Mediterranean Rim while being a regional hub of renewable energies and taking up the challenge of the decarbonization.
