Assoporti is the Italian Ports Association that brings together all the main ports in the country. It has the role of conferring with the National Government so as to cooperate for the further development of Italian Ports. The promotion of the Italian port system and the attraction of foreign investments is also part of the activities that Assoporti carries out. To be noted that the ports of Italy are central in the breakbulk traffic and the renewed cooperation with the Italian Trade Agency can enhance this.
