Rosangela Díaz-Malavé, better known in the industry as Rosy Malavé, is a logistics and maritime professional who has been part of the global logistics industry since 1998, when she began her career as an apprentice with Italia Line. Originally from Venezuela, she relocated to Panama in 2010, where she continued building her career while contributing to the country's growth and positioning as one of the leading logistics hubs in the Americas.

Throughout her professional journey, Rosy has specialized in supply chain management, project cargo, breakbulk logistics, freight forwarding, and commercial leadership across Latin America and the Caribbean. Her extensive experience spans both operational and strategic roles, enabling her to successfully lead complex logistics projects and international business development initiatives. She is the Co-Founder and Commercial Director of Nakama Worldwide Solutions, a Panama-based logistics company specializing in integrated logistics solutions, nearshoring strategies, and project cargo development. Over the years, she has held leadership positions with renowned global organizations, including Hapag-Lloyd, Maersk, and Bolloré Logistics (former SDV) agent's offices in both Venezuela and Panama, where she managed international operations, commercial growth, and strategic projects.

Rosy holds postgraduate studies in Maritime Law, along with specialized certifications in Ship Chartering, Heavy Transport & Lifting, and Project Logistics. She is recognized not only for her expertise in logistics and commercial strategy, but also for her ability to build strong partnerships, develop high-performing teams, and foster long-term business relationships based on trust and collaboration.

This year, as Ambassador for Women in Breakbulk Europe, she actively advocates for diversity, mentorship, and the advancement of women in the logistics and maritime sectors. Passionate about connecting people, creating opportunities, and strengthening Panama's position as a strategic logistics hub, Rosy continues to champion collaboration, innovation, and inclusive leadership throughout the global supply chain community.

Aligned with The Heavy Lift Group’s recently launched THLG Next Gen initiative, this interactive workshop explores how the industry can become more accessible and engaging for young talent while strengthening knowledge transfer and long-term career development.

Designed as an informal, conversation-driven session, the workshop will focus on practical skills development, mentorship, cross-generational collaboration and the growing impact of AI and digitalization across project logistics. Participants will have the chance to ask questions, exchange ideas and gain practical insight from senior professionals working across the global THLG network.

THLG is a global alliance of 72 specialized transport and logistics companies across 57 countries, with expertise spanning industrial project forwarding, crane operations, oversized transport, vessel chartering and engineering.
