Breakbulk Cargo Shipped to Dakar Includes Three 110-Ton Transformers

AST International Transport is delivering around 20,000 cubic meters of breakbulk cargo along with 200 containers to Dakar from various locations across Asia and Europe as part of an ongoing power plant project in Senegal.
Project cargo operations have included the successful delivery and installation of three transformers, each weighing 110 tons, at the power plant site in Saint-Louis, the Istanbul-headquartered logistics company said.
The transformers have been positioned on their foundations, marking a key milestone in the logistics and construction phase of the project.
“Since 2001, AST has successfully completed numerous projects, standing out for its customized logistics management services and its extensive international network,” the company said. “AST will continue to provide complex industrial project logistics, backed by 25 years of international project transport expertise.”
AST is an exhibitor at Breakbulk Europe.
