AAL to Host “Back to the Future” Fundraiser

AAL Shipping is eagerly preparing to host a fundraiser at its exhibition stand during Breakbulk Europe in a bid to rally much-needed support and resources for the invaluable mission of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

The company is encouraging attendees to pledge their generous assistance via both online QR codes and coin collection boxes that will be deployed at the stand during the event at Rotterdam Ahoy. All donations will go straight to the foundation to aid efforts to find a cure for Parkinson’s and improve the lives of those living with the debilitating disease.

Hyve – the parent company of Breakbulk Events & Media – is proud to support the fundraiser, which will take place at AAL’s exhibition stand (2A10-B11) during Breakbulk Europe’s welcome reception on Tuesday, 21 May from 6pm.

The theme of the fundraiser is “Back to the Future” and corresponds to the recent naming of the first of AAL’s “Super B-Class” heavy-lift vessels – the 32,000 deadweight AAL Limassol, set to depart on its maiden voyage in the coming days.

Throughout the show, attendees will get the chance to sit in the world’s most famous car – the 1985 “Back to the Future” DeLorean – and receive a souvenir Polaroid photo, souvenir photo holder and special MJF Foundation Badge.
