Varishna Sardjoe Mishre is a VC investor on behalf of both Energietransitiefonds Rotterdam (ETFR) and ENERGIIQ. She has a broad financial background, holding a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and has gained experience at the Dutch development bank FMO, the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands, and IDH Investment Management. This background has enabled her to develop expertise across a wide range of financial instruments and sectors. In recent years, Varishna has been primarily active in the fields of energy transition and raw materials transition. She serves, among other roles, on the supervisory board of cement recycling start-up Everox and digital-twin service provider for district heating networks Gradyent. In addition, she is the owner of children’s book publishing company SMRTi Books.
