Kaleido Logistics Marks 50-Year Anniversary

Spain-Based Logistics Operator Reinforces Global Positioning and Long-Term Vision

Kaleido Logistics is celebrating its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of delivering international logistics solutions as part of Grupo MARE.

Founded in 1976 and headquartered at the Port of Vigo, the family-owned company has grown from a local logistics operator into a global logistics partner, specializing in project cargo, industrial logistics and integrated supply chain solutions. Today, Kaleido has an established presence across Spain, Portugal, Brazil, China and South Africa, supporting customers with logistics solutions in international markets.

Under the anniversary concept “50 YEARS DRIVING FORWARD”, the company is commemorating this milestone by looking back on its journey while reaffirming its commitment to the future. Over the past five decades, Kaleido has continually evolved in response to changes in global trade, the transformation of the logistics industry and the increasing complexity of international supply chains.

That continuous evolution has strengthened the company’s operational capabilities, expanded its international footprint, accelerated its digital transformation, broadened its service portfolio and reinforced the expertise of its teams.

“This anniversary is not only an opportunity to reflect on our history; it is also a recognition of everything that has shaped who we are today. That experience gives us the confidence and enthusiasm to continue building the future alongside our customers, partners and people,” says Xosé Martínez, general director of Kaleido Logistics.

Throughout 2026, Kaleido will deliver a program of initiatives that brings together business, culture and community. Highlights include its collaboration with the Sinsal Festival at the company’s port terminal in Vigo, heritage initiatives at the Real Mosteiro de Oia, community projects with Vigo Rugby Club and cultural programs such as the II Angola Art Contest, an initiative designed to promote and showcase local artistic talent in a country where Kaleido has maintained a strong presence for more than two decades.

These initiatives reflect the company’s broader vision of logistics as a driver of economic development, innovation and social value. Throughout its history, Kaleido has built long-term partnerships with customers across multiple industries, delivering complex industrial projects and large-scale logistics operations worldwide.
