马丁·哈伦博士（Dr Martin Harren）生于1970年，是总部位于不来梅的哈伦集团（Harren Group）的所有者兼首席执行官，该集团旗下还拥有重型吊装和多用途平台（MPP）业务子公司SAL Heavy Lift和Intermarine。他于2003年加入该集团。 此前（1992年至2003年），哈伦在柏林自由大学获得医学博士学位，并在柏林夏里特大学医学中心担任外科医生。
哈伦集团的核心业务包括重型吊装和多用途平台（MPP）航运、海事工程解决方案、综合项目物流、船舶管理与船员配备、大宗商品物流以及海上风电运营。 这家家族拥有的航运集团在全球设有24个办事处，管理着由65艘各类主要船型组成的船队。
哈伦集团目前正在建造五艘新型重吊船，这些船舶将成为同级别中最高效的船只，其能耗和排放数据远优于当今任何现役重吊船。所谓的“逆戟鲸级”（Orca Class）将使哈伦集团能够为客户提供完全碳中和的运输解决方案。
