Zara Tiedchen
Junior Voyage Operator AAL Shipping
Zara Tiedchen is a Junior Voyage Operator with AAL EUROPE, based in Hamburg. She is 20 years old and has four years’ experience in shipping.
She received a diploma from the Christian school in Buchholz, a small town near Hamburg, where she also undertook an internship at the Liberian Registry.
In 2019, Zara joined an apprenticeship programme in shipmanagement at the Technical Manager Wilhelmsen Ahrenkiel and the Commercial Manager Harper Petersen.
Joining AAL Europe as a Junior Voyage Operator in 2022, Zara helps to organise port calls and bunkers for the Carrier’s fleet calls in Europe, as well as liaising with its crew, port agents, terminal operators, customers and other departments within AAL.
