Francois has been in charge of global logistics for the ITER project since 2012 (largest worldwide nuclear fusion project), with a dedicated team of 80 employees now.
During his long career, he was an expat in Saudi Arabia dealing with logistics of construction project for 4 years (early 1980’s) and in Russia with oil & gas projects for 4 years (2008-2012). He managed energy projects in many other countries like Algeria, Lybia or Germany.
His experience and passion in this project cargo industry led him to devote some time for transmitting knowledge to students in Marseille (FR) as a partial activity for the last 5 years.

Guided by the presenter, session participants will be presented with a real-life breakbulk project and be asked to analyse the risks, identify the problems, and find solutions to understand what working in the industry looks like in practice.
