The port of Sète, medium sized port but versatile is suitable for all kind of traffic and offers a complete multimodal connection for all operators. From Multi-bulk agri-business to the container through the Heavy-Lift, Livestock, Ro-Ro and passenger traffic, the Languedoc port is capable of responding to all requests with speed and reliability. In 2021, the port of Sète handled 4,8 million tons of cargo which puts it at the 9th place in all metropolitan ports. The significant investments and exemplary public/private partnerships that have been implemented so far with local players begin to make it attractive and competitive, prior to local and national economic development.
