The Port Association Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania represents port operators and infrastructure companies in the north-eastern part of Germany. The main goal is to promote the highly efficient working ports and terminals along the coast line of Germany's Baltic Coast as multimodal hubs and logistical centres for a wide range of commodites as general and project cargo, bulk and liquids. The ports of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania offer a tight network in ferry and roro-transport but also in the tramp shipping business between South-/Central Europe and Scandinavia.
