Global Energy Transition and the Supply Chain

The present geopolitical situation causes the transition to greener energy to gain even further momentum as energy supply needs to be balanced with energy security. The EU, other regions, and individual countries are simultaneously restarting the economy after the global pandemic and green investment as well as incentives for renewable energy are key components of the stimulus packages. Many European countries are investing into renewables at an unprecedented level, and they are more interested than ever in the supply chain aspect. This session will examine the opportunities these factors generate for the transport and logistics industry.
