Jessica Lakmann

Head of MENA TSL Shipping & Trading

Jessica Lakmann began her shipping career in 2000 with an apprenticeship in her home city of Bremen. She has worked with heavy-lift owners such as Beluga and Combi Lift, where she served as Key Account Manager to industries including Siemens and Reliance. A few years ago, she shifted her focus to the India and Pakistan market, earning her Hindi A1 Certificate and overseeing projects that include successful execution of a refinery plant repair. In addition to the daily chartering which comes along with her shipping role, Lakmann regularly travels worldwide on a sales basis.

TSL specializes in breakbulk and project cargo, including sea transport of cargoes ranging from steel shipments to complex, oversized and heavy cargoes for the oil& gas industry. TSL monitors ships in the open market on a daily basis and is in regular contact with several major carriers. Utilizing its extensive global network, TSL can ensure direct contact to many first-class charterers and is able to allocate the time to find trading options between the cargo holder and the ship owner.
