Henrik, Head of Sustainability, Höegh Autoliners has long experience from working with decarbonization and improving fuel efficiency of the owned and operated Höegh Fleet. He also has experience from working as General Manager for short sea operator Sinor Lines, Hong Kong and is responsible for bunker purchasing.
In a post COVID world, the sustainability of all supply chains has been pushed into the spotlight, and breakbulk and project cargo supply chains are no different. Cargo owners have made sustainability a major consideration in the tender process as well as asking for more sustainable solutions from the industry. This session will explore what metrics the industry uses to measure sustainability, how the industry can dissociate from the negative perception of sustainability within the breakbulk and project cargo sector and delve into current sustainability levels and what may be possible in the future.
