Erwin Rademaker (1966) has an educational background in Public Law and Business
Information Management. Erwin is a national and international award-winning executive
project- and programme manager. Furthermore, Erwin is a published writer of (twelve)
books, a quite known international street photographer and a one-off international
Before joining the Port of Rotterdam (PoR) in 2002, he worked for companies like FedEx,
ExxonMobil and CMG, where he was an international focused line- and project manager. In
these jobs he was trained and got certified in APICS-CPIM, Prince2, PMI and IPMA.
After joining the PoR, Erwin worked within the Environmental Management (2002-2004),
Asset Management (2004-2010 and 2012-2016), Port Development (2010-2012) and D&IT
(2017-now) departments. During his professional years at PoR, Erwin worked on the
privatization of PoR, the implementation of SAP, the implementation of LED for public
lightning within the port and was responsible for corporate programmes like PM@HbR
(project management methodology), Portmaps and Smart Infrastructure.
Currently, Erwin is responsible for executing the roadmap of the Digital Twin at PoR. He’s
also the creator of Container 42 and the ecosystem of We are 42. partners involved.
