Emre Eldener has a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey and an MBA in International Business from Baldwin Wallace University in Cleveland, Ohio.  Eldener worked in the USA from 1991-1997 in the field of international trading and manufacturing engineering. For the past 20 years, he has been a shareholder and CEO of KITA Logistics. He is a member of the Council of Customs and Trade, a permanent member of the Logistics Council of the Turkish Exporters Assembly, and lectures on project transportation for the FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding Program. Emre Eldener acted as the President of the Heavy Lift Group between 2011-2015. In November 2016, he undertook the Presidency of UTIKAD, the Turkish Forwarders Association. UTIKAD represents freight forwarders in Turkey when dealing with public and private organizations including government agencies.
