Following directly on from Susan’s presentation on the status of the fleet, this panel will bring together key experts to discuss the outlook and impact of the current freight rates on the business and the supply chain. Rates have been extraordinarily high for well over a year at this point, with mixed view as to when they return to “normal”. In this session we will compare the market of 2008 to the market of 2022 and examine the similarities and differences. This session will look at when our experts expect things to change, what bookings look like in the next 3-5 years, further discuss the new normal, and how to successfully navigate the current situation.
